Amendment 3 adopted in November 2022 contained many “constitutionally-driven” deadlines for legal recreational marijuana, including automatic expungements of criminal marijuana offenses, hiring a Chief Equity Officer, microbusiness targets, educational support, and preference for communities with higher incarceration rates for marijuana offenses.
Missouri marijuana sales are forecast to reach $1 Billion in 2023.
